Hi, I’m David, founder and head extractor here at Full Melt xTractions. For the last decade, I have dedicated a large percentage of my time making hash, both for others and in my capacity as a single source producer, but not only making it, but thinking about making hash, which ultimately led to the realization that this was something I felt so strongly about, (maybe you can relate) and that consumed me to the point that I wanted to make it my life’s work, or at least a passion project that I’d like to take as far as I’m able to.

The FMx method goes back to basics with hash fundamentals well understood for a couple decades now, and teaches a feel for, and knowledge of the properties of the resin, and how it reacts to handling and your environmental conditions. I was happy just to grow and extract my hash and the hash of others, but over time, I noticed a couple things. Second, when I bought my first bubble washer, I had no clue retrofitting was a thing, I just used it as is, and sure it worked fine, but once I started seeing the mods others were doing, I started wondering, why do these bubble companies seem to be phoning it in so much? I mean there’s companies focused on huge, multi thousand dollar stainless steel units, choices abound if you’re a large producer, but small, single source craft extractors seem to have been left in the lurch by companies that get by on a bare minimum of effort because no one else is offering anything better in that space.

My mission in life is to spread the knowledge of this craft and my particular way of doing things in this space to as many small craft producers (and anyone else) as want to know them, and eventually, if things go well enough, to produce a low to mid cost high quality, built from the ground up for hash, hash washer, made and marketed to the small to medium home producer, whose options right now seem to be: Overpriced, low effort, barely adequate equipment marketed but not truly made for hash, or grab the base machine and put in the research and effort to retrofit it and curate all the best equipment themselves.
